The Haapsalu Italian Music Festival headliners are Italian superstars Umberto Tozzi and Nek
To celebrate his illustrious career, Tozzi will embark on a world tour with the concert program “L’Ultima Notte Rosa: The Final Tour”. Umberto Tozzi has announced to the Italian media that the concert tour, which will include more than 30 concerts, will be his farewell to live concerts.
The festival’s other headliner is the world-famous singer and songwriter Filippo Neviani, known by the stage name Nek. Nek, who has sold tens of millions of records worldwide, will perform his most famous song “Laura non c’e” in Haapsalu, among other hits.

The Italian Music Festival is a traditional festival held in the courtyard of the Haapsalu Episcopal Castle. At the same time, the city hosts an Italian wine festival, which brings Italian flavors and wines to the main streets of Haapsalu. Umberto Tozzi’s unique voice is accompanied by a 21-piece backing orchestra.
Charismatic and creative singer-songwriter Umberto Tozzi has become an icon of Italian music thanks to his evergreen hits, filling the most important music venues in the world with audiences. Tozzi’s career has been marked by several chart hits, including “Ti Amo”, “Gloria”, “Si può dare di più”, “Gli altri siamo noi”, “Gente di mare”, “Dimmi di no”, “Stella Stai”, “Donna amante mia”, “Claridad”, “Eva”, etc.
In 1982, Umberto Tozzi was awarded the Golden Globe. After winning the Sanremo Festival in 1987 with the song “Si può dare di più”, he came third in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988.

Nek
Filippo Neviani, aka Nek, became known in Italy in 1993 when he performed the song “In Te” at the country’s most popular song contest in Sanremo. The performance brought the artist a lot of attention and a year later he also won the award for best young Italian pop artist. Nek participated in the Sanremo Music Festival several times and in 1997 he came out with the song “Laura non c`e”, which left an eternal mark on world music. “Laura non c’e” was quickly picked up and sold over 600,000 copies in Italy alone. The song achieved immense popularity in music charts across Europe and South America.
The man’s career continued to rise and in addition to worldwide concerts, Nek released a series of albums that conquered the charts, which included the songs “Se Una Regola c’e”, “Fatti Avanti Amore” and “Almeno Stavolta”. One of the most well-known singers of Italian pop music, who has released nearly 20 albums to date, continues to be active and will perform at the Haapsalu Italian Music Festival this summer.

Beati Mandolini
Beati Mandolini is an ensemble that performs Sicilian folk music. In addition to fiery tarantellas and emotionally rich love songs, the concert will feature popular songs from other parts of Italy and the Mediterranean countries, as well as well-known classical melodies. The members of the ensemble are musicians with long and diverse experience. Beati Mandolini captivates the audience with genuine and direct acoustic music that fits into any interior and enchants listeners of all ages with its musical joy.

Susanna Aleksandra & Titoks
Charismatic singer Susanna Aleksandra joins forces with the gypsy-jazz ensemble Titoks to take you on a journey back in time to the 1950s-1970s, when the world was gripped by Italian fever, the films La Dolce Vita, Roman Holiday and The Godfather were released, and Italian-inspired hits sung by Dean Martin, Rosemary Clooney, Sophia Lauren and others sounded on the radio. Virtuoso musicians offer a spirited shot of nostalgia and the joy of recognition.

Accessibility
Entrance is free for visitors in wheelchairs or those accompanying visitors with other mobility difficulties. Visitors with special needs (based on proof) and their companions are guaranteed non-queued entrance from the main gate. There are no stairs or curbs in Haapsalu Bishop’s Castle that impede movement. ARRIVING AT THE FESTIVAL
We recommend arriving early to avoid waiting in the entrance queue. The longest queues at the entrances are estimated to be between 18-20.
For smooth entry:
- Look for a printed ticket or be ready to show the ticket barcode on your mobile phone;
- Do not carry prohibited items with you (see the list “not allowed”)
- Children up to 7 years old (inclusive) admission is free, except in numbered seats. Children aged 8-16 years old (inclusive) ticket on site 15€;
Be reasonable and consider that queues and waiting are possible in large crowds – our team will do everything in its power to make your festival visit smooth and pleasant. Be polite to fellow guests and service staff.
- When preparing to make a purchase, look for the exact cash or card required for the purchase;
- A Piletilevi gift ticket does not guarantee entry to the festival. The gift ticket must be exchanged for a ticket for the desired event at the Piletilevi sales point before coming to the festival. More information www.piletilevi.ee
Aggressive and clearly intoxicated people will not be allowed into the festival or will be removed from the festival area without the possibility of returning.
RECYCLING SERVICE INFORMATION 🔄
Due to the Packaging Act, reusable food containers and drinking cups will be used at this event! A RECYCLING SERVICE deposit of €2 + a handling fee of €1 will be added to each unpackaged drink and/or meal. Total €3. The value of the deposit amount is €2.
Please return all dishes and cups to the designated collection box or deposit return tent – please do not throw the dishes in the trash!
🔄The caterer will serve food/drinks in recycled products.
🔄The customer returns the recycled product to the collection points and the organizer will return the deposit fee to the customer.
Customers who do not wish to use the recycling service can use a drinking cup they brought with them or consume products packaged in packaging bearing the deposit mark (tin cans, drinking bottles, etc.).

PAYMENT
- Bring enough cash to ensure a smooth purchase. There are card payment options in stores. Due to the large crowd, card payments may be disrupted due to overloading of telephone masts. There are no ATMs in the festival area.
- Dress according to the weather. Rather, dress warmly. The regular ticket to the festival area is a one-time ticket. The VIP ticket allows repeated entry and exit. It is possible to purchase an entry and exit wristband on site for 15€.
ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL:
✅ With chairs brought along (must not obstruct the field of view of other visitors);
✅ With wine party glasses that are reusable (putting down glasses is prohibited).
NOT ALLOWED:
❌ Entering with umbrellas and other headgear that obscures the field of view of fellow visitors. Bring a raincoat if necessary;
❌ Entering the festival area with food and/or drinks brought along;
❌ Other prohibited items (blades, firearms, narcotics, etc.);
❌ Pets;
❌ Professional photo and video equipment (lenses over 15mm);
❌ Bicycles, motorcycle equipment, etc.
